BY TRAIN

By train either from K.Lumpur, Singapore or other places you can stop at Tanah Merah train station and get the taxi around RM40.00 to RM45.00/taxi/way to Kuala Besut jetty

BY BUS

By Express Bus from either K.L, Penang, or other places, you can stop at Jerteh bus stand and take taxi ( RM20.00/car-early morning @ night, RM10.00/car day time) or bus (RM1.50/person) ride to Kuala Besut.

From K.L (Putra Bus Station) there are direct bus to Kuala Besut jetty, Mahligai Express & Mutiara Express. The price around RM28.00 - RM32.00 each way.

From Kota Bharu Bus stand (north ), you can take bus (Transnasional or SKMK) straight to Kuala Besut. Only RM4.10/person.

From Kuala Terengganu (south), you can take "S.P.Bumi" bus (RM5.70/person ) to Kuala Besut around 3 hours. Other way, you can take taxi (1 1/2 hour) straight to Kuala Besut.

From Singapore you can take K.K.K.L bus direct to Kuala Besut jetty. You can get the bus ticket at Sri Maju on Golden Mile Complex at $40 (Singapore dollar) per way.. or, if that bus company fully book you can get Trainsnasional bus company from Singapore to Jerteh bus stand and get taxi to Kuala Besut jetty. The Transnasional Express runs a service from and to Singapore and Kota Bahru but you stop at Jerteh bus stand. Buy your tickets from Kallang Basin Interchange, opposite the Singapore Casket. Book a one-way ticket to Kota Bahru at around SGD 35. Be sure to book a day in advance. Bus leaves at the evening daily around 7.30pm, and you have to request to stop at JERTIH, 15 kilometers from KUALA BESUT before the journey's final stop - Kota Bahru. You will reach JERTIH at 5.30 am in the morning (If the bus left Singapore at 7.30pm). There is 1 company at Goldenmile that has direct Super VIP to Kuala Besut jetty. Is more costly though.
